Take a look at the amount of swirl marks in this before and after photo. Notice how close together they are and how there is maybe 1 or 2 visibly deeper scratch marks. 1 stage paint correction is sufficient enough to bring this clear coat back to glossy finish.

QUICK POLISH
Take notice to the haze in this red paint. That is oxidation on the surface of the clear coat. See how there is fewer scratches? A quick polish is usually suitable for situations like this and will provide a high gloss finish while removing a signicant amount of imperfections.

Paint correction is an auto detailing process using machine polishers and rubbing compounds to remove scratches and paint swirls from the surface of automotive paintwork. This process takes time and experience. Proper tools and techniques are necessary throughout the process and when paint correction is done correctly, it can leave the surface of your paint smoother & shinier than ever before.

As industry professionals in auto detailing, we prioritize trust by keeping things transparent and educating our customers on the fundamental aspects of our paint correction process. Although each job may vary slightly, our process generally follows a consistent framework.
Paint Preparation Process
After we do our inspection, we proceed with the preparation process. This must be done before we can begin using machine polishers on any area's we plan on correcting or enhancing.
We initiate the process by eliminating any loose debris through an alkaline presoak and rinse. Next, we conduct a comprehensive acid wash on all painted surfaces to effectively eradicate inorganic contaminants. Following this, we utilize a pH-balanced soap to neutralize the acid, ensuring a thorough wash of the entire car, truck, SUV, van, etc.
Paint Decontamination
Upon completion of our acid wash, which is actually consider part of decon, and once the surface is devoid of inorganic contaminants, we proceed with further decontamination utilizing a fallout remover and/or clay bar to eliminate any leftover residual brake dust adhering to the surface. In some instances, this step may be minimal or even unnecessary, as a comprehensive acid wash typically does a complete job.
Paint Correction Process
Recognizing that each project is unique and customer expectations may differ, we perform three distinct test spots categorized as good, better, and best. This approach allows our clients to visually compare their options, empowering them to make an informed decision that best suits their needs.
Once the paint has been thoroughly cleaned, we push forward and begin removing those ugly scratch-marks, swirl marks, and other imperfections that hinder the paint's ability to achieve an extreme glossy finish.
As an option final step, we apply paint protection of your choice. We offer advanced SiO2 ceramic spray sealants or a commercial grade ceramic or graphene coatings to protect your freshly corrected paintwork from ultraviolet rays, bugs, water spots, and other harmful contaminants.

We dive right in, looking for all those tiny details that make a big difference—light scratches, deep scratches, swirl marks, paint depth, water spot etching, fallout, and any other imperfections that need to be addressed before the paint correction phase.
